Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has left a mark across the screens. De La Garza's parents were Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. Her move to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played various roles ranging in local independent films as well as global commercials. Even with the minor parts, she realized acting as her true passion. In 2001, she moved from the Midwest to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's morning soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she had small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first major show was The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear alongside a number of the famous TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. Milano was born into the strictest and most religious family. Milano was able to begin her acting career at seven when her babysitter took her along to a stage audition. From more than 1,000 candidates, she was chosen among only four. Milano has appeared in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as Jane Eyre, the American premier of Jane Eyre.
